1. Scope and definitions
This Privacy Policy applies to the Bhavti Teche LLP website, the BT Conexa Android application, and related services that are owned, approved and operated by Bhavti Teche LLP. "Bhavti Teche LLP" ("Bhavti Teche", "we", "us", or "our") refers to Bhavti Teche LLP, the owner and operator of the Services. "BT Conexa", "Platform" or "Services" refers to the approved products, applications, websites and related services provided by Bhavti Teche LLP.
"User", "you" or "your" means any individual who accesses or uses the Services. An "Emergency Contact" is a person voluntarily selected by a User to receive supported alerts or information. Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authority or consent before providing another person's contact information. A "Vehicle QR Code" is a BT Conexa QR code voluntarily associated with a registered BT Conexa vehicle profile.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on the feature used, you may provide your name, mobile number, email address, profile and account details, vehicle details, Emergency Contact details, QR profile information and information included in an SOS or support request. Supported safety features may process location information when a User initiates or permits a location-sharing feature. Location information is processed only when required for supported features and only after the necessary permissions have been granted by the User. We do not describe BT Conexa as continuously tracking every User.
Contact enquiries may contain your name, email address, phone number, enquiry type, subject and message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, provide support and communicate regarding your request. Career applications may include applicant details, the role applied for, a message and an uploaded résumé. Career application information is used only for recruitment and hiring purposes and is not used for unrelated marketing activities.
We may also receive limited technical information required to operate, secure and improve the Services, including device information, browser information, IP address, request timestamps, operating system details and diagnostic information. Such technical information is collected only to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Services.
3. Why we use information
We use information to create and maintain user accounts, provide requested safety, vehicle, QR code and communication features, send supported alerts or information to Emergency Contacts selected by the User, respond to support requests, contact enquiries and career applications, maintain security, diagnose technical issues, prevent misuse, comply with applicable legal obligations and improve the Services.
Where required, we rely on your consent, applicable permissions or another lawful basis to process personal information. Device permissions may affect whether certain features, including location sharing, calling, messaging and related emergency functions, operate as intended. Location information is processed only when required for supported features and only after the necessary permissions have been granted by the User.
5. Location, emergency and Vehicle QR information
Location and emergency information can be sensitive. BT Conexa safety features depend on User action, granted permissions, device status, network availability and the accuracy of information provided by the User.
A Vehicle QR Code does not provide access to RTO records, government databases or any official vehicle ownership information. Information displayed through a Vehicle QR Code is based solely on the details voluntarily provided for a registered BT Conexa profile. Users should provide only information they are authorised to share and should ensure that Emergency Contact details, vehicle information and other profile information remain accurate and up to date.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and protect our legitimate interests. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information involved.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, including appropriate access controls, authentication measures and secure infrastructure where applicable, to help protect personal information. However, no online service, electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Information may be processed by authorised service providers in different geographic locations where reasonably necessary and subject to applicable legal requirements.
7. Children and minors
The Services are not intended to enable a child to independently create legal obligations where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law.
Parents or lawful guardians should supervise the use of the Services by minors and should provide another person's contact information only where they have the appropriate authority or consent. If you believe that information relating to a minor has been provided without appropriate permission, please contact us so that we may review and take appropriate action where required.
8. Your choices and requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information associated with you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent where consent is the applicable legal basis, or request account closure or deletion.
Certain information may be retained where required by law or where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal claims or other legitimate purposes. At present, account closure or deletion requests should be submitted through the public Contact page or by emailing admin@bhavtiteche.com. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before processing such requests.
9. Applicable framework and updates
We intend to process personal information in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and other applicable legal requirements, where relevant.
As our Services, legal obligations or business practices evolve, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date or last review date of the updated version will be identified when it is published.
10. Contact and grievance requests
